This is a work in progress, ever changing with pictures and information. I will be adding video & music clips that I hope you will enjoy. I've been a musician for quite some time now and play all types of music From Bach to Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk, & Metal.  I have spent quite some time on the road and in studios; I have played with some famous and not so famous musicians with great experiences along the way.  Ralph Hampton (an old friend of mine) was very gracious to submit an introduction to this site, and I thank him very much.

Hello Everyone,

You may wonder just who Albin List is. Well the first time I experienced the music of Big Al (as I've always called him) was in the early 80's at the "Button", a rock club on the Ft. Lauderdale strip. One particular evening I stopped in to see a local band that was recommended to me by a friend. Not expecting much I was shocked to hear some of the most innovative and bombastic guitar playing I have ever enjoyed... Needless to say I had to find out who this guitar player was and see if he had any recordings (at that time I was the manager of a radio station in West Palm Beach) that I could feature on my local musicians program. He didn't have anything at the time so I urged him to do a demo at a local recording studio. A couple of months later he came by the station with a tape of 5 tracks he had cut at Bryant Studios. Having written all the material and playing all instruments except drums on these songs I was again impressed with the raw yet hard rocking sound and excellent guitar playing these songs presented. I played several of these tunes on my talent spot and got a good response from the public (no doubt a lot of Big Al's following responded).

After creating a large South Florida fan base, Albin left the area to play and tour with several "Label" bands. When Albin emailed me about his website I asked if I could post an intro of sort.....   So here it is:

Whether it's Jazz, Rock, Blues, or Metal, Albin does it all with a distinctive sound and flare all his own. When you hear him play you know it’s him. Sit back and enjoy this man of talent, I believe you will become an Albin List fan just like me.
